However, just like many other actors have complained in the entertainment industry, Paul also found some aspects of this fame grueling to deal with. Like the one time this became the bane of his existence when he was trying to comfort a friend during his hard time, and things took a turn for the worse as a fan found this unruly and hurled vile insults at him at the worst time possible.

Just like with great power comes great responsibility, with great fame comes a tremendous burden to bear it – something that’s not always easy.Aaron Paul, for one, had, perhaps, the most upsetting first-hand experience of the same as a fan made him realize the mammoth obligation to hold that public image up irrespective of how the celebrity may be feeling for real.

In an interview withThe Guardian, theBreaking Badactor shared how he once had the most unsettling experiences of his life with a fan as his fame became a bane of his existence. As Paul shared about his friend:“He’d found out his fiancée was cheating on him and just told me they’d called off the wedding. I’m hugging him, he’s crying.”Unfortunately, a drunk girl fan decided to show up at the same time asking for a picture with him using Jesse’s politically incorrect catchphrase:

YO, B–CH! Lemme take a picture with you, b–ch!

However, since he was trying to comfort his friend and be there for him at the time, the Jesse Pinkman portrayer knewit wasn’t a good time for the same. Thus, while trying his best to protect his friend’s privacy, he tried to explain the situation to the fan and let her know that it wouldn’t be the best time for him to take a picture with her at the time.

But instead of understanding his position, the drunk fan seemingly got even more mad at him for refusing her request. This led to her dropping vile insults to the actor’s face. As Paul went on to share:

She’s like: ‘You’re not gonna take a picture? You’re such an a–hole, who do you think you are? F–k you!’

Of course, situations like these not only leave celebrities in some of the most uncomfortable situations, but are often also followed by them getting painted in red among other fans because of that one fansharing their point of view of the situation with the world. Needless to say, this is as unfair as it gets, especially for the ones dealing with the fame.

After sharing this unfortunate story, Paul also made it evident that he’s aware that, somewhere out there, this very fan just might be sharing herversion of the storyand how the actor refused to take a picture with her, perhaps even portraying him as an“arrogant jerk.”But he has also seemingly made peace with this obsessive attention fans seem to shower on the show and the actors.

When asked if this attention that viewers pay the show ever got too much for him, Paul tried to shrug it off by saying,“At least they like it.”Of course, this answer sounds like one from a celebrity who simply doesn’t want to alienate his fan base because of one uncanny incident.
