The devs over at Team Ninja recently releasedWo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s “final demo,” and it’s available now on all respective platforms. This is the second time a Wo Long demo has been made available to the public, and, perhaps due to the fact that we’re much closer to release, it’s accrued a respectable amount of players, at least onSteam.

Via the publicly available information onSteam DB, this demo peaked at 57,500 concurrent players shortly after its release. Though the numbers have since calmed, they’re quite notable, particularly given what a packed year it’s been so far and will no doubt continue to be. This peak already beats out recently released games on Steam, such asAtomic Heart(38,725) andWild Hearts(28,511).

Unlike the first demo from September 2022, this one includes “two early stages of the game,” which are Chapter 1: Village of Calamity and Chapter 2: Two Chivalrous Heroes. Furthermore, this one is set to carry your progression to the full game once it releases. It will be available until midnight PT on March 26, which will give players plenty of time to try the game out, even after it launches.

By clearing the first chapter in the demo and transferring the saved data to the main game once released, players can claim the in-game item, “Crouching Dragon Helmet.” you’re able to see how it lookshere.

This item was also obtainable from the September 2022 demo, however, that one was only playable onPlayStation 5andXbox Series X|S, so it’s only fair for the devs to include it here as well. Theofficial pageconfirms that this is not an exclusive item, as it can also be obtained in “the retail version of the game.”

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty isNioh-developer Team Ninja’s newest action RPG, and it’s set in a demon-plagued fantasy version of the Three Kingdoms era of China. As seen in the trailer above, the game will have you facing numerous large and eldritch demonic creatures, as well as fearsome enemy soldiers. It will feature a “Morale” system, where a player’s strength increases when defeating enemies, but lowers if they die in battle.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launches on March 3 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
