In thequarterly earnings presentation, Remedy revealed that the highly anticipatedMax Payne 1 and 2 remakeis finally entering full production, thanks to Tencent, as it has almost tripled the investment in the studio. The remake project is also funded byGrand Theft Auto’sfamed Rockstar Games.

In the report, the company stated that those two remakes will make their way into full production in Q2 of 2024, which is from April 2024 to June 2024. A few months ago, the project was in the“production readiness stage,”which means the development of these projects is at its best pace.

Development fees increased from the comparison period, mainly due to higher development fees from the Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes.
