Linkin Park is turning heads with their latest lineup shake-up! On Thursday, during a high-octane live performance event, the band pulled a major surprise out of their hat about their new co-vocalist: Emily Armstrong (viaLA Times).

After a challenging seven-year hiatus following the heartbreaking loss ofChester Benningtonin 2017, the band is ready to turn a new page with their upcoming albumFrom Zero, set to drop on November 15th. This announcement comes with their new single,The Emptiness Machine, marking their first full-length album since 2017’sOne More Light, which was released shortly before Bennington’s demise.

Not only is Armstrong stepping up to the mic, but the band is also welcoming Colin Brittain—known for his songwriting and production chops with G Flip, Illenium, and One OK Rock—as their new drummer (viaVariety).

The brand finally broke their seven-year silence following Chester Bennington’s passing in 2017.

Before joining Linkin Park, Armstrong was the lead singer of Dead Sara, gaining acclaim with their 2012 debut and working with artists like Courtney Love.

According to Shinoda, the band feels revitalized with their new lineup and the fresh music they’ve created.
