In a recent interview, Kim Hyung-tae, director of Shift Up, talked about how players need to be able to immerse themselves in the virtual world of the game without thinking it is realistic. They need to enjoy the experience a bit more without so many questions.

With a rocky beginning making a very controversial impact with the camera angle and the way its main protagonist is designed,Stellar Bladereally generated a lot of fuzz. Eve, the main character always has the camera behind her, and other details like body movement made a part of the gaming community enraged about these decisions. But even after all that, the first reviews for this new IP say that it is a solid title, with amazing gameplay and narrative.

Promoting the game’s launch, its director Kim Hyung-tae had an interview in which he talked about what kind of game this action title is, and he even mentioned how players have to play it.

Hyung-taetalked aboutthe controversy surrounding the game, saying that people’s perception of Eve is completely wrong and has nothing to do with reality standards. He said,“The game is a virtual reality, and I believe we need to have opportunities to see things that are not so realistic in the virtual space.”The idea is to enjoy the game without thinking a lot about how it works in the real world.

He also respects the part of the community that does not agree with him.
On April 26, Sony will exclusively releaseStellar Bladefor the PS5. The game will have Eve as a warrior, who will do everything in her power to save Earth from an alien invasion. With a third-person perspective, this action title has several RPG mechanics to improve Eve’s abilities in combat to destroy enemies faster and do more damage. You will have to travel through ruined cities and fight all kinds of enemies.
