The Holdoverswas a film that took the world by storm. At first, seeming like a comedy film that showcases the conflict between a student and a teacher, it ends up telling its audience a beautiful story about companionship and loneliness, two favorites of cinema. The movie was so well received amongst audiences that it became one of the most critically acclaimed projects of 2023. It has also been nominated for five Academy Awards.

A majority of viewers adored the movie when they went to watch it, and returned with an excellent experience. However, this wasn’t the case for everyone. Unfortunately, for a group of 40 people, it turned into one of the most traumatic experiences of their lives. This was because the staff of the cinema forgot about them!
