The CARV.2 Rifle is one of a few new weapons that will be arriving inWarzoneandCold Warduring the course of Season 3. It’s likely that we’ll see a new weapon meta arrive with the introduction of new guns to use.

CARV.2 Tactical Rifle
UPDATE:The CARV.2 Tactical Rifle is now live in bothCold WarandWarzone. Below you will find the official challenge players need to complete in order to unlock the new weapon:
“Using Tactical Rifles, rapidly kill 2 or more players in 10 different completed matches”
The CARV.2 Tactical Rifle is a three-round burst weapon that will be available to use in bothWarzoneandCold War.
To unlock the new weapon, players will be required to complete a set of challenges OR purchase a bundle through the store which includes the CARV.2 Rifle. By purchasing the weapon through the bundle, you may skip the process of completing challenges to unlock the weapon.
If you plan on skipping the challenges and purchasing the new rifle through a bundle, you’ll want to pick up thePlastik Prototype Bundleto gain access to the new weapon blueprint.
The challenges that must be completed to unlock the CARV.2 have not been released as of writing. As soon as the challenges go live, this article will be updated.

Season 3 of bothCold WarandWarzoneis now live in game! The new Season kicked off on April 22 with a whole plethora of content.
Warzoneplayers were treated to the Destruction of Verdansk Event which saw the map become over run with Zombies, ultimately ending in its demise. However, the event did finish with players being transported back to 1984 and dropping into a brand new Verdansk for the first time.
WhilstCold Warplayers were given new Multiplayer Maps,New Weapons,New Operators, and so much more!
