Call of Duty: WarzoneÂandCall of Duty’s: Black Ops Cold War’s most recent update, the Season 2 update, makes some significant changes to the game. Apart from the newly added weapons, characters, and game modes, we have had some customary nerfs and buffs made to some of the weapons. Quite notable of all was the change toTactical Rifle Charlie, which has received a buff after the update. The bullet velocity of AUG has been increased, which has improved the weapon even further.

Alongside that, the Agency Suppressor has also been nerfed. The Agency Suppressor was buffed earlier, in order to make it a more viable option like the Monolithic Suppressor. However, the recent update introduces a change that affects your bullet velocity when the Agency Suppressor is equipped. A popular COD Youtuber, JGOD, criticized the change and even said that it ruined inCall of Duty: Warzone.

Thankfully,

🛠️We will be returning the Agency/GRU/Wrapped Suppressors to their former glory in the next hotfix.#Warzone

“>Raven Software has received feedback from the community. It has confirmed that the changes made to the Agency Suppressor will be reverted again in the next hotfix. For those who are unaware, the Agency Suppressor did affect the bullet velocity initially. While this was removed at a later date after community feedback, for unknown reasons Raven Software has added it back again. That being said, considering Raven Software has promised that this will be reverted in the next update, fans don’t have a lot to worry about.

Until the hotfix is released, the Monolithic Suppressor seems to be the only option forCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers. A drop in the bullet velocity basically means that players will not be able to hit longshots accurately, which can be a bummer for many. It remains to be seen when Raven Software releases the hotfix.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
