Vampire action-survival game V Rising has hit a new milestone, as developer Stunlock Studios has announced the game has now hit five million units sold.
The announcement was sent out via a press release where the studio also announced a huge update/expansion is planned to drop sometime in 2025.

V Rising’s Future Update To Bring New Biome And More
In the press release, Rickard Frisegård, CEO of Stunlock Studios, said, “Hitting 5 million sales isn’t just a number, it’s a testament to the passion and dedication of our team and our incredible community. Our player’s enthusiasm drives us to push boundaries and deliver even more unforgettable experiences. We’re excited to build on this success and deliver thrilling new experiences and content in 2025.”
As for what’s coming to the game this year, Stunlock says this “big update” will bring a brand-new biome, a deadly new faction, and “ancient technologies ready to be claimed.”

New content isn’t the only thing on the way, as significant changes are also incoming. Players can expect a revamped progression system featuring stat caps, a Fusion Forge for crafting ultimate builds, and risk-free PvP (Player vs. Player) options like dueling, customizable castle arenas, and more.
