There have been a few instances where actors simply do not get along. David Schwimmer, who portrayed the character of Ross Geller inFRIENDS,had a similar experience.

Although no one’s at fault here, really, Schwimmer did not get along with one actor from the American sitcom. The actor caused a lot of retakes by messing up the scenes and David Schwimmer really hated that.

Ross Geller had been portrayed in the show as a really nice guy who wouldn’t hurt a fly if it was in his way. Contrary to the character, David Schwimmer had plenty of opinions and remarks about things in life.
During season 1, Ross Geller found an adorable little friend by the name of Marcel the Monkey. Katie (the monkey) played the role and things became just a little tough when Marcel started behaving unprofessionally.

Well, who could blame her? David Schwimmer revealed inFriends: The Reunion(viaScreenRant) that he really hated working with Marcel the Monkey. No offense to anyone (human or monkey) but Katie accidentally ruined takes and the cast had to start from square one.
What inevitably began to happen was we would all have choreographed bits kind of timed out, and it would get messed up,because the monkey didn’t do its job right.

He further continued,
So we would have to reset, we’d have to go again because the monkey didn’t get it right.

The report further mentioned that Katie (monkey) would often leave food and live bugs all over Schwimmer’s clothes. The actor, naturally, was disgusted by working with Marcel the Monkey despite their on-screen chemistry.
