After more than a year’s wait, the second season of Peacock’s Twisted Metal TV show finally has a premiere date, though it won’t be airing soon.
Revealed today via Peacock, the announcement was accompanied by a super-short trailer with some added humor sprinkled in.

The announcement confirms fans will be able to tune in on July 31 to watch the Season 2 premiere of Twisted Metal. Check out the short video announcement where we also see show protagonist Anthony Mackie.

In Season 2, following the revelations of the Season 1 finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, which is hosted by the mysterious Calyspo (same with the game franchise).
Starring in Season 2 is once again Anthony Mackie as John, Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet, and they are joined by new faces as well.
