If you are a big fan of theDestinyseries from Bungie, then you will know that there are a few different features gamers have been wanting for awhile. And now, our prayers are being answered, as Bungie has finally delivered on certain features, but for some it may be too late.

Destiny 2 finally receives a heavily requested feature, but maybe it is too late.

The feature in question is one that gamers have been asking for over the many years sinceDestiny 2was released. Now with the launch ofThe Final Shapeexpansion, which will be coming later this year, Bungie has finally provided players with this constantly requested feature. However, many gamers are asking why it has taken this long, and what will be involved.

What Feature Is Coming to Destiny 2 with The Final Shape?

Over the many years ofDestiny 2, there has been one feature gamers have been asking for, and that is character customization post-creation. This means that all those players who may have made a few errors regarding theirDestinycharacters can finally change them to suit their styles today.

Unfortunately, despite the many customization choices, Bungie will not add any extra options with this update. For those who are looking to experiment with brand-new facial hair, hair styles, or facial features, you will be disappointed to hear that nothing new is coming.

This means that players will have to suffer with the customization that has always been within the game. What makes this even more problematic is the fact that players won’t be able to change their species, and will have to continue playing as the one they selected, whether that be an exo, human, or awoken.

A good part of this feature is that players can update their character design ahead ofThe Final Shape, which means they will be able to change how their character looks before one of the biggest story updatesDestiny 2will ever see.

Why Are Gamers Unhappy With This Feature Finally Releasing to Destiny 2?

Even though there are many gamers who are excited to finally receive this heavily requested feature, there are those who have been waiting for it since the game’s official release. In many ways, they have grown sick of waiting, and feel that it is now well past time to be happy for such a small feature to come to the game.

As stated above, even though this feature is finally making its appearance after well over 10 years, players are rather annoyed that they aren’t even getting new customization options.

Since players have been asking for this feature for so many years, it is quite frustrating that Bungie took so long to finally complete this request. Sadly, players will have to suffer even longer to receive any other requested features, such as more customization skills and increased storage capacity regarding certain resources within the game.

One fear that many players have is that, along with everything else that comes withDestiny 2, this new customization opportunity will eventually get monetized, causing many gamers to spend precious silver on different options that could eventually become available.

Some players feel this will be an incredible opportunity for the future ofDestiny 2, as Bungie clearly is working towards listening to the requests of the players, but there could still be an opportunity for Bungie to let the fanbase down.
