Multiple times, Respawn Entertainment has declined the rumors around a newTitnfallentry in the past, but a pre-order box forTitanfall 3at a GameStop retailer has ignited speculations again.
Respawn Entertainment, one of the most successful game developers of the current era, made a name for itself after launchingTitanfallin collaboration with Electronic Arts back in 2014.
The game was successful enough that EA soon greenlit the sequel, but then stupidly scheduled it to launch one week afterBattlefield 1and one week beforeCall of Duty Infinite Warfare. With such timing in release, Electronic Arts almost killedTitanfall 2in terms of financial performance, despite the game’s incredible quality.
After such a huge mistake by EA, we never heard anything aboutTitanfall 3officially, but Respawn managers did mention multiple times that they had no intention of returning to the franchise again.
GameStop Retailer in Germany Believes Titanfall 3 Will Come Out in Fall 2022!
With all things mentioned above, however, a fan has recently spotted aTitanfall 3pre-order box art at a local GameStop retailer in Germany, next to the pre-order box arts ofDragon Age 4,FIFA 23, andThe Elder Scrolls 6!
According to Reddit user,u/Va0Ce, they were surprised by witnessing this box art at a local GameStop store, while Respawn has almost declined any Titanfall plans multiple times in the past. This gets even more surprising when you know that the retailer has told the Reddit user that the game would be available around Fall this year.
To be honest, this is too good to be true! We do know that Respawn Entertainment has so many ongoing projects at the moment that even if they want to addTitanfall 3to the pipeline it would probably take years for it to be launched.
So, this is either an obvious mistake by the local GameStop retailer in Germany or maybe just a fake post. Either way, this is pretty unlikely that we hear anything aboutTitanfall 3anytime soon.
