Omens born to nobility such as Morgott are forever hidden away to rot forever in the underground areas of Leyndell’s capital.Morgott remained loyal to the Greater Will as well as the Erdtree and protected it till its very last breath. It is speculated he wore rags and worn-down clothes to occasionally remind himself who he truly is. If Queen Marika had not been superstitious, Morgott could have had a normal life instead of being in the shackles of an omen.

Morgott and Mohg were twin brothers, and both were locked in the underground sewers of Leyndell since their birth. While Morgott stayed behind with the Erdtree to protect it and the Golden Order, Mohg had other plans.Mohg after escaping was able to become the lord of blood as granted by the Outer God called The Formless Mother. He soon after hatched a plan to remove the curse of Omens from the Lands Between by starting a Dynasty. He planned to do the same by kidnappingMiquella, his half-brother and an empyrean, to become his consort and finally start the Omen dynasty.While he was able to successfully kidnap Miquella from the Haligtree and started performing grotesque experiments with his blood, Miquella failed to respond and till today stays confined within a cocoon.
