As known, the Switch Lite features a 5.5-inch screen, the original Switch’s screen measures 6.2 inches, and the OLED Switch has a 7-inch display. Similarly, the base model Steam Deck also comes with a 7-inch display, while the Steam Deck OLED version features a slightly larger 7.4-inch screen.
The 8-inch screen is deemed large for handheld consoles and might pose portability issues, deviating from its original concept. If the latest Switch 2 leaks come true, Nintendo may face a similar situation, especially considering that the Steam Deck has been criticized for the size and bulkiness of the screen.
Nintendo May Find a Way To Increase Screen Size Without Making the Console Bulky
