Other times, there are more on-the-nose moments, or, in the case of one mannequin, a much closer look when you’re facing away from it.Call of Duty‘s quiet, unnerving moments were completely unexpected, and althoughBlack Ops 6‘s campaign revolves around similarly looser level structures, this is the most subversive of the bunch.

Emergence stands out for more reasons than just the creep factor. One boss fight begins with a tentacled horror removing itself from a camera lens, setting up a battle that is half Gary’s Mod Prop Hunt and half wave survival, all while the nostalgic World at War track 115 roars around you.

But the Administration branch, which sounds surprisingly commonplace, appalls Treyarch. Your job is to track down stray reports and file them for the director, who is like a red mannequin in a locked office room. When you receive the first report, the other mannequins in the vicinity of the bullpen begin to moan.
