Episode 2 of the series introduces Makeup Boy, who is highly popular among the girls for his knowledge of fashion. Girls are crazy about Makeup Boy, except for Penny Proud. She understands that Makeup Boy is nothing but a product of social media influence.
In order to prove her point that anything can get viral on social media, she creates a video called ‘Growing Up Proud’. Surprisingly, the video gets viral, and she becomes more famous than the Makeup Boy. Penny uses her new power to ruin Makeup-Boy’s career, boycott LaCienega, send away Suga Mama and her teacher.
