CD Projekt Red is one of the biggest video game development companies that has created several iconic role-playing games. The studio is well-known for creatingThe Witcherseries andCyberpunk 2077. In 2021, the studio announced that it is working on several new projects, including a sequel toCyberpunk 2077and new titles inThe Witcherseries.

Given the popularity ofCyberpunk 2077, it makes sense why most of the fans were more excited about its sequel but it seems like CD Projekt Red is more interested in expanding itsWitcherfranchise.
CD Projekt Red’s Next Big Project Is Not Cyberpunk 2
Pawel Sasko, Associate Game Director at CDPR, recently appeared on theFlow Gamespodcast. He revealed some interesting information about the future plans of the studipo.
In the interview, Sasko talked about all the games in theWitcherseries. He explained that the next game is “the most advanced of all of those.“

Sasko also highlighted that a lot of employees, around “400 people,” are working on this project. Independent studio The Molasses Flood, which was acquired by the studio in October 2021 is also working on this project.
The first game in theWitcherseries,The Witcher, was released in 2007 and thankfully, it was a success. The game played a key role in laying down the foundation of the franchise.
