During her appearance, Panabaker, who has directed multiple episodes of the superhero TV series, opened up about trying to hide her pregnancy out of concern that the news could potentially jeopardize her opportunity to work as a director on the show.

I remember sitting at a table with an executive from a studio which I will not name. And when… we were talking about me starting a family and I expressed that I for medical reasons cannot carry children, he told me that that was a thing for my career because… they wouldn’t have to worry about losing me.

Sackhoff recalled being shocked by the remark.“I remember sitting there thinking to myself, I can’t believe that you just said that… me not being able to carry my own children is a f**king good thing,”Sackhoff said.

Sackhoff also recounted the moment she met her daughter immediately after birth and how she was overcome with gratitude for her surrogate.“I remember like she was still… there with legs and stirrups… and I dove on her,”she said, recalling the overwhelming moment.
