However now, the fans are rallying behind him to snag the role of Wally West in the DC universe. The irony of it all adds a hilarious twist to the mix.

Despite sending in a self-tape audition, Quaid’s journey towards donning the cape didn’t go beyond that initial step. During a candid chat on theHappy Sad Confusedpodcast, he opened up about this unexpected turn in his superhero auditioning adventures. He said,
I didn’t get very far,–I put myself on tape and it went nowhere, and that’s fine. I’m totally cool with it.

He also talked about his opinion on Corenswet filling in the shoes,
I know David Corenswet–He’s one of those people you meet, and you go ‘Oh yeah…whenever they need another [Superman], it’s probably going to be you.

Now, although he missed out on a chance to play asuperhero, this statement itself is very amusing toThe Boysfans. They mischievously have another role in mind for the actor, which makes the situation even more hilarious.
