Since Flash is meant to be the first of many movies to come and is meant to set the scene for the rest of theDCuniverse, the post-credit scene in the movie can reveal a lot about the franchise’s future.
Does The Flash Have An End Credit Scene?
Yes, The Flash does have an end-credit scene that you should stick around for. However, there isn’t anything of great substance in the scene. It’s mostly used to give a cameo to the wildly popular Aquaman, who’s sure to appear on the big screen soon.
The scene shows Barry carrying a limping Arthur Curry after a night out drinking, showing his high tolerance for alcohol. Due to having an incredibly high metabolic rate, the Flash is often depicted as not being able to get drunk in many iterations. Though it doesn’t tease the speedster’s return in a sequel, the end-credit scene does show some character development for the fastest man alive.

In the movie, Barry is shown to be very anti-social and introverted, having no real friends. He doesn’t really get along with his colleagues because of his awkward personality, and he doesn’t have time to hang out with anyone because he has devoted his life to proving his father’s innocence.
However, the fact that he was out drinking with another Justice League member, even carrying him back to his apartment, shows that he’s overcoming his social anxiety and finally making some friends. This is also reflected in his budding relationship with the main love interest for Flash, at least traditionally, Iris.

When Is the Next Flash Movie Coming Out?
There isn’t a set date for a sequel to the Flash movie. In fact, it’s not even confirmed that we’re going to get one in the first place. According toan article by The Wrap, DC executives are willing to give the film a sequel if and only if it performs well at the box office. This means it has to gross about the same as 2021’s Batman film, with a whopping $770M worldwide gross.
The script for the sequel is already written, and it’s almost a given that Ezra Miller will be recast as the Flash. Despite the immense controversy surrounding the actor, Andrés Muschietti insists on casting him for the role. According to him, Ezra’s depiction of the Flash was the best one so far.
“I don’t think there’s anyone that can play that character as well as they did,” he said in an interview on The Discourse podcast.
