The Devil Is a Part-Timer! Episode 7 Recap
The previous episode started with everyone meeting at the lighthouse. It is then revealed that Olba divulged the information about the Holy Sword to the demons and also gave them the Yesod Fragment to help them track it. Emi warns everyone about the arrival of demons known as Malebranche and their head Ciriotta. After their arrival, Emi starts to fight them while Amane hands over the sword to Maou.
It’s hard for Emi to handle Ciriotta on her own, but soon Moau appears in his true form and takes care of the demons very easily. Maou then asks the demons and Cariotta to return to the demon realm and claims to have already acquired the Holy Sword.
The next day, Amane frees everyone from their job and asks them to leave, stating that the beach is a safe spot for the souls to recover. But due to their presence, the souls are starting to lose their human form. Amane then reveals before leaving that she is the daughter of the Earth’s Binah and asks them to revive her world’s Da’at. After Amane leaves, Maou shares his wish to rule the world, which comes as a shock to Emi and Chiho.
