Any actor who has a degree of edge and would like to delve into a dark character like that, especially with a filmmaker like Christopher Nolan who brought such a profound vision.

He further explained that what Nolan was doing at the time was truly ingenious as no one else had dared to experiment like that. He noted what made the movie so amazing was its derivation from playing an established comic book hero or villain in a big studio movie that might not necessarily be fulfilling in the acting aspect.
Christopher Nolan’s work and what he gave the actors in that was such a revelation. It was mind-blowing to see. And so, of course at that point that would’ve been such a dream role.

Especially if he has the opportunity to work with such a talented filmmaker in one such movie that would elevate him.
If I was presented with an opportunity to play an interesting character with a filmmaker that elevated me and gave me space to do something vastly different, in that world…it sounds amazing.
Especially he stated that these big studios like Marvel and Disney employ such high-tech machinery that make the outcome so magnificent. He further added that“people love them. So who wouldn’t wanna be a part of something beloved.”
But it would take a tone that I related to. It wouldn’t be just, you know…
