Recently, a fan shared his appreciation for the Larian Studios Support team, which usually looks after fixes to bugs, glitches, and other issues with the games.
A Baldur’s Gate 3 Fan Came Across a Weird Bug
The fan initially got a“huge gamebreaking bug”onBaldur’s Gate 3around 1-2 weeks ago. Due to this bug, the main character of the game completely disappeared from the game. Not only that, but the inventory, character portrait, and everything else were gone too.

The worst part of this incident is that, among the disappeared items, there were some that were crucial for him to progress further in the story of the game. After these weird things happened, the remaining players of the game were stranded in a location where fast travel couldn’t be possible anymore.

In this critical situation, the fan needed his main character to initiate a conversation with another NPC to progress further in the game, but his main character was long gone. Later on, he sent a manual bug report to Larian. However, he did get a reply unexpectedly on the same day from a person named Victor from the developing company.

Upon Victor’s instructions, the fan sent him all the saved in-game files, which he then forwarded to the developer team. After just two days, Victor sent the fan a custom-made save file in honor mode. Upon using this save file, the fan’s character was restored. He was able to finish the game on the same day and get the golden dice in the game. Getting this huge help, the fan expressed:
