Sometimes, the tricky part of a Shrine inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis not just the puzzle in the Shrine itself,but how to find it. Sometimes they’re tucked away in some place that you may’t find easily and requires a little poking around.

The Gatanisis Shrine is such a Shrine, which not only provides a difficult puzzle to solve inside but isa little difficult to findto even get to that point.
Gatanisis Shrine Location
The Gatanisis Shrine is hidden on the side of one of the map’s eastern cliffs. It’sjust past Zora’s Domainand just west of Knuckel Island. The exact coordinates for the Shrineare 4498, 0825, 0095.
If you approach the cliff looking out on Knuckel Island, look down, and you should be able to see the Shrinesitting along a ledge of the cliff. Jump off and glide down to be able to access the Shrine. You can enter it whenever you’re ready.

Completing The Shrine
The Gatanisis Shrine is not an overly complex puzzle to solve; it justrequires a fair amount of luck and timing. When you enter, you will see a long platform extending out over the chasm, and above the platform, on the far-end, there is a button above it. A large ball will drop on the platform causing the platform to start bouncing. But the platformdoesn’t bounce at the right timeto hit the button.
This means thatyou haveto use Recallat the right time to cause the ball to fly up into the button. This takes a little practice and observation. You will see that the platform drops to its lowest point right when the ball drops onto the platform, which is what is going to launch the ball the highest. If you wait until the ball isjust past the point where it landedon the platform and initiate Recall, you may send the ball into the button.
Now, this isn’t necessarily a guarantee, and you may need to try it a few times before you will be able to hit the button. This willtrigger the locked door to open. Now, you have to wait for another ball to drop onto the platform to launch you into the air and glide over to the door. You can also glide to the top of the button to find a chestwithfive Bomb Flowersin it. When you’re ready, you can go interact with the statues and get your Blessings of Light.
