To celebrate Nickelodeon Animations' internal annualSuper Smash Bros.tournament,SpongeBob Squarepantsstoryboard artist Kurt Snyder decided a super crossover poster was in order. The most excellent results of which he posted on hisofficial Twitter account:

And in other great news, The University of California, Irvine has announceda pilot scholarshipforSuper Smash Bros. Ultimateplayers during their 2019-2020 school year. This has been made possible thanks to a $50,000 donation from Street Media, which publishes LA Weekly and Irvine Weekly.

Late last monthDragon Quest’s Hero released as thelatest DLC fighterfor the title. Nintendo released a new 22 minute video featuringUltimatedesigner and director Masahiro Sakurai as he delved into into the moveset of Hero.
