Super Mario RPGserves as a remake to Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars — which was originally released back on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It brought with it a slew of classic JRPG-style mechanics, such as having a pool ofplayable characters, plenty of gear, grinding experience to level up, and many optional tasks for getting items.

One such item is Yoshi Cookies. These cookies can be used in battles, but there is another use for them. They can be fed to a baby Yoshi to get valuable items, including Frog Coins.

Using Yoshi Cookies On Baby Yoshi

Once you havecompleted Marrymore, head on over to Yo’ster Island and go to the nest on theleft side of the racetrack. Here you will find a baby Yoshisitting in the nest— he will want to eat some Yoshi Cookies. You canget these cookies by winning races. Feed this baby Yoshi atotal of 30 cookies. You will then need to leave this area of the map and come back. When you return, the baby Yoshiwill now be the largest Yoshi on the map. you may now feed him additional cookies and berewarded with various items. Once you feed him, he will bounce up into the airrevealing an egg. The egg will hatch and the player will receivea random item. It is recommended you feed him either10 or 20 cookies at a time, as anything more than this will not yield any better items. The items players are expected to get include the following:

The Bracer and Energizer each normallyhave a cost of 2 Frog Coins. This means that getting a single Frog Coin can be seen as the least favorable outcome. However, a lot of items willneed players to spend Frog Coins. This means finding adedicated farming spot for Frog Coinsis a better option when buying an item that can only be obtained using them — such as theExp. Booster.
