The speculation rises amidst the news that Kelce’s mom Donna Kelce has announced ditching the high-priced boxes for a seat in the stands. Donna is not the first mom to call out the multi-million dollar suits as San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey’s mom also criticized the“stupidly expensive”luxury suites.

According to ticket siteTickPick, the ticket prices for Super Bowl LVIII held for the first time in Las Vegas are the most expensive in history. The cheapest tickets range from $7000-$9000, which is comparatively more expensive than last year’s average price of $5795 at Super Bowl LVII. Suites at the Allegiant Stadium begin at $1.4 million and range all the way up to $2.5 million for an Owner’s Club Suite.

According toDaily Mail, hospitality provider Suite Experience Group revealed that the prices for the suites have dropped since, with the costliest now available at $1.8 million. Fans speculate thatTaylor Swiftmay have purchased the most expensive suite from the three tiers, the facilities of which include 20 tickets, two parking passes, and a food and beverage package. Luke Sawhook, who covers NFL content, posted a glimpse of the million-dollar luxury in the suite on his X account.

According to Sawhook, the luxurious spread of the food and beverage package includes—souvenir popcorn, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, BBQ burnt-end burritos, a glazed donut Super Bowl sundae, carne asada fries, seafood stuffed potatoes, surf and turf nachos, wagyu beef hotdogs, frozen cheesecakes, and a full-service bar. Taylor Swift,who just touched the billion-dollar mark on her net worth, could easily afford the most luxurious suite in the Super Bowl.
However, the same could put a dent in the earnings of several NFL players. According toSpotrac, Chiefs players like Trent McDuffie, Creed Humphrey, Nick Bolton, and many others earn much less in base salary than the luxury suites. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy only earns a base salary of $934,000, a situation not too different for other 49ers players.
Family members of several players of both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have to opt for the stands due to the pricey boxes.
