Raymond Leaves Studo Even Before Fairgame$ Gets A Release Date

The report states that PlayStaton leadership didn’t give Haven Studios staff members a reason for Raymond’s departure from the company. But Raymond’s sudden exit comes after several weeks of an external playtest for Fairgame$. According to people with knowledge on what’s happening, some developers at Haven were concerned about how the game was received and its progress.

A PlayStation spokesperson confirmed Raymond’s departure and said, “Jade Raymond has been an incredible partner and visionary force in founding Haven Studios. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and contributions, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter.”

The spokesperson added PlayStation is committed to supporting Haven Studios and excited to continue the journey” with new co-studio heads Marie-Eve Danis and Pierre-François Sapinski.

Fairgame$ was announced in 2023 and is one of the few known live-service titles Sony has under development. Following the disastrous release of Concord, which saw its servers sunset after just two weeks of release, Sonycanceled two live-service projectsfrom Bend Studio (Days Gone) and Bluepoint Games (Demon’s Souls remake).

The latest news for Fairgame$, which surfaced earlier this year, was that the title hasreportedly been delayedfrom its original fall 2025 release. Given we haven’t seen anything about it for a long time, and with what happened to Concord, we wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case.

Jade Raymond shot to prominence at Ubisoft as the producer of Assassin’s Creed, and serving as Executive Producer of Assassin’s Creed 2, AC: Bloodlines and Splinter Cell: Blacklist. The last game released by Raymond was The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot in 2015, where she took on the role of Executive Producer at Ubisoft Montreal. After that, Raymond jumped to EA as the SVP Group General Manager before starting Haven Studios in 2021.
