Critic Peter Bradshaw describes the audience’s reaction at Cannes to be“a storm of incredulous laughter and the owl-looking hooting that French audiences use to expression derision”(viaIndiewire).It was an absolute nightmare and no one expected this level of negative reaction at a prestigious festival like Cannes. Those are delightful scavenger hunts that are about as accurate to history as the James Bond movies are to espionage…All we were doing is promising a diversion.
