However, Prismatic Shards are some of the rarest materials in the game. They also don’t really have a guaranteed way to get them. Your best bet is to go tothe Skull Caverns, Volcano Dungeon, or the levels over 100 in the Mines. As you slay monsters and continue moving through the levels and, eventually, you will find a Mythic Stone that you can break open for a Prismatic Shard.

When you do have a Prismatic Shard, you can take it back to the three pillars in the Calico Desert. While holding it over your head,walk into the center of the three pillarsand a cutscene will trigger. Once the cutscene has played out, the Prismatic Shard will turn into the Galaxy Sword.
