In the last episode ofStar Wars: Skeleton Crew, we saw Fern, KB, Neel, and Wim find their way home to At Attin. All the children manage to escape Jod after escaping the pirate frigate. However, little did the children know that Nawood escaped on the ship with them. Jod forces the kids to land and tells the security that he is a royal representative.

Nawood stumbles into the At Attin reserve of gold credits, bringing tears to his thieving eyes. As we pick up in the season finale episode, “The Real Good Gusy,” we wonder if the kids will be right after coming home, but Jod is drawing his weapon. At that point, the credits began to roll. We still don’t know the fate of anyone on the ground.

Disney+’sStar Wars: Skeleton Crew’sSeason 1 Episode 8: Why Does Jod Abduct Fern and Fara?
Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law) separates Fern and Fara from the group to lead him to the Supervisor. Earlier, he flaunted his “royal authority” by instructing the security guards to send the children home with their parents and quarantine them. The “Supervisor” is a giant droid that occupies nearly the entire top floor of the government building.
However, the Supervisor accuses Nawood of lying. What is Jod fibbing about? He told the Supervisor droid he was an “Emissary and a Jedi.” (Supposedly, the Supervisor is aware that all post-Order 66 Jedi are considered traitorous bastards.) Having had enough, Jod draws his lightsaber and stabs the authoritarian droid in the eye, shutting it down.

The strike disables all the security droids in At Attin. The group worries about their friends Wim, KB, Neel, and Wendle. To save Fern and Fara, they plan to fly the Cinder to aid them. However, Neel falls off his vehicle but is unharmed. Meanwhile, Jod signals Captain Brutus’s ship to enter At Attin airspace.

How Does Jod Na Nawood Become a Jedi?
They now plan to use the Cinder to signal K’hymm and the X-wing ships for assistance. This means they need to destroy the barrier so KB can fly. Wendle and Wim manage to restore power to the clamp, allowing the Cinder to be released. When the lever is about to be pulled, Wim is scared off by Jod and his lightsaber. Nawood then holds the weapon to Wendle’s neck.
While holding Wendle at saber point, Jod tells them that a female Jedi took him under her wing when he was Wim’s age. While teaching him a few things, she was hunted down and ultimately murdered in front of him. During the story, however, Jod became distracted. Jude Law’s beautiful face was slugged, and he dropped his weapon.

Wim picked up the lightsaber, holding Jod at bay. The villainous Jedi, though, had his own, using the Force to push the kids and adults back. Yet, Fern, Fara, and Wendle hung onto the lever, countering Jod’s Force, yanking it down, and freeing KB and the ship, Cinder, from the clamp.

KB, SM-33’s head, and the Cinder tumbled toward At Attin, safely crashing into the lush green ground.
However, the X-Wing fighters made it to At Attin, destroying the frigate and saving the day. Jod was then arrested, but at least he survived. As the X-wing fighters leave, the great barrier is gone, and Wim looks up at the sky, smiling, perhaps enjoying his adventure.
