Call of Duty: Black Ops 6has just been released. After completing the promisingModern Warfaretrilogy, Activision is now looking to revive itsBlack Opsseries. The last game in the series,Black Ops Cold War, didn’t get a proper reception from the fans, which is why all the honors lay on the shoulders of the recently launched title.
However, things are not going very well forBO6as the game is heavily criticized for the new movement mechanics and launch maps. Now there is another important aspect of the game, which is facing backlash as well.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s TTK/TTD Is Horribly Inconsistent
Recently, a dedicated fan shared his frustration on Reddit regarding all the flaws ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. In this post, he talked about the issues regarding theBO6maps, gun levels, new movement mechanics, perks, SBMM, and many more.
However, more thanthe criticisms regarding the mapsand Omni-movement, the community is disgusted with the TTK/TTD of the game. Now, what is that? TTK, time to kill, is the amount of time it takes from when you first hit your enemies until they die. TTD, time to death, is the time from when you start to take damage until you die.

According to a player, both TTK and TTD are hugely inconsistent in the game. For example, in one match, you can survive after taking hoards of bullets. On the other hand, in another match, you die instantly after just a couple of shots, but the enemy is not dying even after taking the whole magazine. Even the TTD is so bad that the enemy has an ample amount of time to turn around and kill you.

TTK/TTD is one of the most important aspects of any shooting video game. The times to take down an enemy or get killed by your enemy are literally imprinted in your brain when you are playing a game for long.

You take risks depending upon that, like peeking for long or trying to control the recoil of your gun even when the bullets are not connecting. When players see different TTK/TTDs each time, it is quite evident that they will be frustrated. Let’s see how the fans have reacted:

Players will be highly grateful if Treyarch does something about the inconsistent TTK/TTD inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6if the company really wants to revive the Black Ops series.
