The user also remarked on the actor’s manner of delivering his lines which fails to convince the fan of anything he says. “He should have cast someone else, not himself,” they added.
Another Redditor shared their thoughts about Sheridan’s appearance on the show in acomment: “I don’t mind him on Yellowstone but when he snuck himself in 1883 I laughed lol that’s when it went too far for me.” The director notably appeared in the spinoff series, but some fans barely saw him on the screen.
Sheridan left acting when he noticed he was being paid less than his costars back in 2010. He spoke with the higher-ups, but it only prompted him to quit. A fan seemed to notice that something was amiss about his acting.
