Shane Gillis was asked why he cared so much, to which he replied:
Oh I don’t at all! But I will say this, when they (Chiefs) are playing against you, when it’s your team, and then the camera cuts to Taylor Swift, that’s when it builds.

Rogan might have been keen on seeingwhy the hate for Swift was so animated, but he also aligned on some issues that were in fact genuine concerns. He said:
Out of respect for the players, if you’re going to a Buffalos game in January, you should be outside, you’ll feel it more.

This comment was particularly about the concern that Swift had elected to watch the Buffalo Bills game from a cozy indoor box in January, rather than braving the elements like the players and fans did. This is something that spectators have often done, out of respect for the players, and fans found it a tad outlandish that Swift would choose a heated indoor seat, over engaging in the the culture of football spectators.
