If it came down to it, who would win?
While the movie is quite far off since Liu is just in the negotiation stage, it’s better news than hearing that it’s dead. Who knows? Given the actor’s involvement, perhaps we’ll finally see a sequel to the cult classic game.

The game is set in contemporary Hong Kong, and follows martial artist and undercover police officer Wei Shen who infiltrates the Sun On Yee Triad organization. While the title might not have had a big impact when it was released, it has since gained a cult following among video game fans.
As for Simu Liu, the actor recently appeared in Marvel’s “What If” TV series, and will soon appear in the drama flick, “Last Breath” alongside Woody Harrelson, which should hit theaters this February.

In terms of future projects, Liu ia slso confirmed to be startting in Shang Chi 2 asconfirmed by Disney.
