Shadows Housewill be back soon hyping up all fans, as we’ve got a new trailer from AnimeJapan 2022 announcing a July release for season 2.
If youâre unfamiliar withShadows House, itâs basically a story focusing on several kids who are all living dolls and the servants of noble kids. Except for the fact that these nobles they serve are all faceless shadows, who look pitch black and unnatural. The whole series has a baroque feel to it, mixing very cute elements - the protagonist Emilyko is super cute - with various mysteries and downright horror.
Shadows House Season 2 is handled by My Dress-Up Darling’s CloverWorks
TheShadows Houseanime is handled by Studio CloverWorks, who just didAkebi chan’s Sailor Uniformand My Dress-up Darling this Winter 2022 season. The studio has a pretty nice reputation these days, especially after these two shows, so it’ll be interesting to see how they handle this Season 2. Especially when it comes to the scenario.
Shadows Houseâs mangaka is Somato, which is actually a duo: we have Nori who handles the story, and Hisshi the illustrator. I wonât go into details to avoid spoilers, but the anime’s first season had story differences when compared to the manga and an original ending. So it’ll be interesting to see how season 2 will be handled. Whether it’ll add more differences with Somato’s original manga, or if it’ll get back on the manga’s story rails.
