Secret Levelis one of the most anticipated anthology series at the moment. The creators behind the show are the visionaries ofLove, Death + Robots. The series will feature 10 different stories from various video games.

However,Secret Level’sdecision to chooseArmored Coreover the royally ignored Hidetaka Miyazaki game might not have been the best the creators made since this game had all the potential to be turned into an amazing episode.
Secret Level Did Not Choose The Right Miyazaki Title
Armored Coreis the weakest of FromSoftware’s games. There is so much scope for developing other games from the studio that the decision to go for this feels almost deliberate. Why someone would like to give leverage toArmored CoreoverBloodborneis still a mystery.
The game’s world is not nearly as aesthetically pleasing as Yharnam.Bloodborneis considered one of Miyazaki’s most aesthetically pleasing games. In it, he managed to create an amazing feeling of incarceration while staying true to its grim theme with a pinch of aesthetic satisfaction.

Graceborne: The Bloodborne ‘Sequel’ is Here, Created Without Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Permission
It deserves to be adapted for screen.Secret Levelhad a chance to pay homage to one of the best titles from Miyazaki; instead, it chose to go withArmored Core. There is a chance that the creators might not have been able to get their hands onBloodbornedue to Sony’s exclusivity policy. This is one of the biggest reasons why we have never seen an official PC port for the game either.
Sony likes to keep its exclusives close to its heart. MaybeSecret Leveltoo became a victim of this policy. However, there are still better games by Miyazaki thanArmored Corethat are nearly perfect to be adapted for screen.

Secret Level Will Explore The Storytelling Potential of Video Games In Exciting Ways
Secret Levelis set to release on December 10th. The series draws along the same lines asLove Death + Robots. The only difference this time around is that the series is based on video games, includingSifu, Warhammer 40K, God of War, and many more.
Bloodborne Player Shatters Record: Defeats the Most Vicious Soulsborne Boss That Makes Radahn Look Like a Pacifist With a Single Parry
The series is set to feature the cinematic and innovative storytelling that games deserve. It is bound to open up the world of these games to a wider audience. Not everyone likes to play games, and due to that, a huge section of society is always left out of the amazing stories that some games offer.
Screen adaptation of video games works best due to its ability to transcend its niche audience. Secret Level will aim to do the same for many games. What do you think about the decision to chooseArmored CoreoverBloodborne? Let us know in the comments below.
