Sydney SweeneyrecentlyattendedtheSouth by Southwest (SXSW)Film Festival and sat down for a discussion. There, she attended the premiere of her latest movieImmaculatewhere she plays the role of a young nun navigating a chilling descent into darkness.
Speaking of it, theEuphoriastar also commented on other modern horror movies, and how the genre did not feel “cinematic” anymore.

“I feel like now there’s a lot of film that just … they are not cinematic. The characters aren’t strong and I don’t know what happened to storytelling. Where they felt like the horror genre, they don’t deserve films anymore.”
Fans were not impressed with Sweeney’s comments, especially because she was a part of the critical disasterMadame Web.One fan wrote “Says the person who was in Madame Web!”,while another expressed, “You literally starred in Madame Web. So your input on storytelling is questionable at best”.
