Diving into the depths of the family’s despair, Ryan Gosling’s father Thomas, and mother Donna, each accused the other of mental and physical abuse that psychologically damaged their young children. There were alleged reports of domestic abuse and more, in the court papers.
Addressing these reports, Ryan Gosling has opened up about his childhood years and the trauma he suffered, during several interviews. Admitting feeling like “going crazy as a kid”, Gosling added that there was “something messed up with my brain”.
