There have been some other interesting details about the game in the past that have surfaced such as it being infirst-person again, and introducing new elements like Hallucinations and other new stuff to the series. It has also been reported thatResident Evil 8might actually be titledResident Evil 8Villageand will release sometime in 2021.

Resident Evil 7was exactly what the franchise needed. It showed that the series can still be the horror kings of the video game industry and gave us fans what we had wanted for years. If they continue to build off their creations from that game, I am positive that 8 will be even as terrifying and fun as 7. I am just hoping that the game will come to VR platforms again!
