If you’ve been keeping tabs on gaming news, chances are you’ve heard of a shooter that has made waves due to the controversies surrounding it.
Thankfully, the game itself is good, so the shooter isn’t just riding on the coattails of controversy to turn a quick buck.

Now, this controversial shooter is looking to add a VR mod, which means the violence will be more immersive.
Ready or Not VR Mod Confirmed
Ready or Notis about to hit VR. It will feature a fully dedicated mod, with native VR controls and mechanics, which means it’s not just enabling the game to run on virtual reality and calling it a day.
Our first look at the game in VR was unveiled today via the VR Games Showcase. Watch it in action in the video below (around the 38:20 mark).

More details about it will be shared soon, which we hope will include a release date. As one might expect with a mod, this will only be available on PC. Despitethe success of PlayStation moddingfor tactical shooterARMA Reforger, VOID Interactive has not added mod support to Ready or Not.
Initially released on PC in December 2023, Ready or Not made its console debut last month. Not only was the first-person tactical shooter controversial, but it’s also a good game on its own right.

Our review of ittalks about the controls, but recommends it nonetheless, stating, “The controls are intuitive, the AI is generally easy to command apart from some menu clunkiness, and the dystopian grit looks great on a big TV screen. I’m definitely going back to playing the PC version most of the time, but that doesn’t stop Ready or Not from being the best tactical shooter available on consoles today.”
Despite the game getting negative Steam reviews, developer VOID Interactive is laughing all the way to the bank, as the tactical shooterhas already passed 10 million units sold. If you’re hoping for a physical version, it is coming, but you’ll need to wait for it.
