We seem to be deep into the season of leaks. Over the last few days, we’ve hadplenty of information leak about the Xbox Series S, including the price and the release date. We hadCall of Duty Black Ops: Cold Warmultiplayer footageappear and now, joining the party, is Ubisoft.

Spotted over onResetEra by user AndrewDTF, are a couple of images from the heavily rumouredPrince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. Ironically, this time the images weren’t datamined or leaked by an insider but come from Ubisoft themselves. The pair of images appear to have surfaced on the Russian Uplay store.

These images were then followed up with further evidence as Reddit useru/ZyklonBnetanyahuposted a third image online.

The existence of thePrince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remakehas been heavily rumoured for some time now. Back in June, a suspiciousPrince of PersiaTwitter account appearedand was reportedly registered to a Ubisoft email address. This was then backed up by aGuatemalan listing of aPrince of Persia Remakedated for November this year on both PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Although the game has been rumoured for a while, this isn’t how Ubisoft would have wanted it to come out, especially as we’re now just a few hours away from today’s Ubisoft Forward event.

The wind seems to be being taken from Ubisoft’s sails ahead of this event. They set expectations earlier in a post telling fans that althoughSkull & Bonesproduction is in full swing, they shouldn’t expect to see it today. Then, over on Twitter,Scott Pilgrim vs. the Worlddirector Edgar Wright hashinted to fans that a newScott Pilgrimannouncement is coming our waytoday. With the rumours of the gamereturning in the near future, plus the convenient timing, it’s looking likely we’ll see the reemergence of that game later.
