These tips will only increase the chances of finding one.As of now, it is thought that the shiny rate in the game is 1 in 500. So, in order to catch a shiny, you need to increase the number of Pokemon you are coming in contact with. Thankfully, this is pretty easy to do. If you want to catch shiny Pokemon,you need to attempt to get at least 8 hours of sleep with Snorlax. The longer your sleep, the more Drowsy Power you obtain.Drowsy Power will cause rarer Pokemon to show up at your camp.Snorlax will also increase the number of Pokemon that appearand their rarity based on how well it is fed throughout the day.If you feed it 3x a day (6 AM - 12 PM, 12 PM - 6 PM, 6 PM - 12:00 AM), you will get a better chance of finding Pokemon. Finally, you can ensure youbefriend any shiny Pokemon you findif you stack up on Biscuits. Feeding Pokemon Biscuits will make them stay at your camp.
