Out of all thePokemonthat first appeared in the fourth generation of Pokemon, the Gible line may very well be the most popular. Even thestartershave stiff competition up against this Dragon and Ground-type line, who are loved for their sheer power and limited places to find them.

Their rarity has caused a bit of concern for The Teal Mask DLC ofPokemon Scarlet & Violet, as Gible has once again proven hard to track down, despite the short list of spawn locations. A few places are better than others. Even once you’ve nailed these locations down, you may want to rely on another trick to force the spawn.
Where To Find Gible In The Teal Mask
As you’re able to see, there arefive caveshighlighted on the Pokedex that claim Gible will spawn there. Note that all thelocations are caves. Gible will never spawn outside a cave. With the caves highlighted, this will sound like the job is good and over. However,Gible is a much rarer spawn than the Pokedex states.
Before you start your hunt, you’re best offhaving a picnic and making a sandwich that increases spawns of Gible’s type.Normally, this method isn’t needed, even though it always helps.Unfortunately,Gible is so incredibly rare that you may never see one without the aid of sandwich power.

The Jambon-Beurre is a great sandwich for this task, as it’s incredibly simple, uses hardly any ingredients, and increases spawns for Ground-type Pokemon. Remember, Gible is part Ground-type,and weirdly,Gible is one of the few Ground-type Pokemon to spawn in the caves of Kitakami. This means you may increase your odds without concerning yourself with sandwiches meant for Dragon-type Pokemon.
An excellent spot to search for Gible isthis cave located in the Northern section of Wistful Fields. This is also one of the known locations where you can find aRazor Fangas random loot.

If you manage to get Gible to spawn, don’t worry about losing it, asGible will charge at you if they see you.
How To Evolve Gible Into Gabite
Gible’s level requirement for evolution islevel 24.However, this doesn’t matter for The Teal Mask, aswild Gible will be around level 60.Just level up one time and you’ll have a Gabite.
Where To Find Gabite In The Teal Mask
Forgoing the Pokedex Habitat, the only locations listed for Gabite arearound the Crystal Pool and just West of Infernal Pass. The Crystal Pool can be confusing and is best left as your only location forFeebas. Instead,fast-travel to Infernal Pass if you can. Then jump and glide over the side of Oni Mountain until you see a small cave on the cliff side.
The platform outside the cave is fairly large, making it an easy target to spot and land.Gible can also spawn in this cave.If you used the sandwich power, you are likely to come across plenty of them before you find a Gabite.

Once again, the same sandwich powers will work fine. The only other Ground-type you’ll see is Geodude. It’s recommended you just evolve Gible, but this is an easy location to skip straight to Gabite.
How To Evolve Gabite Into Garchomp
Once again, you will already be past the required level for evolution. It will be able to evolve into Garchomp from your Gabite by gaining a level. Normally the level you would need to keep an eye out for waslevel 48.
Garchomp cannot be found naturally in the wild, so unless you want to try your luck with Tera Raids, trading, or using Pokemon Home, you can get a Garchomp by finding a Gible and leveling it up twice. Once for Gabite and again for Garchomp.
