Pokemon Go Mega Rayquaza Weaknesses
Mega Rayquaza is a Dragon/Flying-type Pokemon, which makes it only weak to a few types. Before you select your Pokemon for the battle, you shouldexclude any Grass or Ground typesspecifically, since they are extremely weak against Rayquaza. Bug, Fighting, Fire and Water types are weak as well, but they are slightly more effective than Grass or Ground types. When it comes to the weaknesses of Rayquaza, it isweak only to Dragon, Fairy, Ice, and Rock types. Among these, Ice types are the most effective against it, with it being almost 1.5 times as effective as the others.

As mentioned earlier, your primary focus should be relying on Ice types to gain an edge. The regular Ice-type favorites are the usual suspects here, which will be extremely effective, such as the likes ofGalarian Standard Darmanitan, Mamowsine, Weavile, Jynx, Glaceon, Aurorus, Articuno, and Avalugg. Even when it comes to some other types that are effective against it — such as Mewtwo, Pirouette Meloetta, and Ursaluna — it is their Ice-type moves that you should be using to take down Rayquaza, since its really powerful set of moves will make it extremely difficult for you to win the battle if you do not whittle down its HP quickly.
