What Is The Pikachu Tweet Promoting?

There are a few things that the tweet could be hinting at. The first is aPokemon spin-off rhythm game, as the series has a ton of iconic music that could be used as the foundation for its own title. Put Meloetta and Jigglypuff on the box and call it a day.

A more boring answer is that it could be hinting at more Pokemon songs coming to theNintendo Music app, or some kind of vinyl release for the various franchise OSTs. The Pokemon Presents events tend to focus on multimedia, rather than just games, so this is in the realm of possibility.

Eevee Pokemon TCG Starter Deck

The fact that the decks are black and white also has fans speculating that remakes of Pokemon Black & White are on the cards. That’s more of a reach, but anything is possible, especially as it’s been a while since the Gen 4 remakes came out.

The July 22 Pokemon Presents will almost certainly feature a release date forPokemon Legends: Z-A, as well as the usual updates for the mobile titles, but everything outside of that is a mystery. If the music game theory is correct, then it’s possible a spin-off title for the series’ 30th anniversary is being hinted, one that will feature music from across the franchise, dating all the wayback to Pokemon Red & Greenon the Game Boy.
