As it happens every month, a user by the name of billbil-kun on the websiteDealabshas leaked the upcoming monthly games that are included with yourPlayStation PlusEssential subscription. The headlining title this time around isNioh 2. Though nothing is officially confirmed, this user has accurately leaked the monthlyPlayStationPlus lineup multiple times.

Two other games are included as well, these being 2021’s astronaut game Heavenly Bodies, and 2016’sLEGOHarry PotterCollection. All three games will be available for PlayStation 4 andPlayStation 5owners, however, LEGO Harry Potter Collection is only native on PS4, so it has to be played on PS5 via backwards compatibility.

Nioh 2 is aTeam Ninja-developed game that came out in 2020 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. A sequel to 2017’s Nioh, it is a third-person action-RPG heavily reminiscent of the ‘Soulslike’ titles created by fellow Japanese studio FromSoftware. It does have a more fast-paced feel to it thanDark Souls, but it’s just as crushingly difficult. This is a timely addition for Team Ninja as they have two upcoming games announced in the following years,Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, and Rise of the Ronin, the latter of which is also a PlayStation console exclusive.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection might be the overlooked one of the bunch, but it does pack quite a lot of content into one package. This collection came out in 2016, but the games themselves are even older. It contains LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 which released in 2010 and 2011 respectively. The games offer simplistic but entertaining-enough puzzles, which get solved using some of the franchise’s iconic spells and has you progress through the main story beats of the books and movies.

Finally, there’s Heavenly Bodies. It’s a less traditional title, so it’s a bit harder to describe, but it’s essentially a 2D astronaut simulator, with a heavy emphasis on movement and physics. Heavenly Bodies is one of those games where every limb requires its own input, so just moving about is something that you have to get used to, especially because you’re in zero-gravity. Players are meant to perform astronaut duties such as repairing your ship, moving equipment, collecting space rocks, and even watering plants.
