If you’re looking forward to Persona 4 Revival and Stranger Than Heaven, you’ve still got quite a while to wait.
During theSEGA Sammy Management Meeting 2025, the company outlined its release plans for the rest of this year (fiscal year 2026) as well as fiscal years 2027 and 2028. Included is some idea of when they plan to launch their biggest upcoming games that we currently know about,Atlus’s Persona 4 RevivalandRGG Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven.

Both games were fully revealed at the Summer Game Fest earlier this month, but neither gave any hint of a release window.
However, in the corporate presentation (slide 27, if you want to check for yourself), it’s shown thatboth games will be launching no sooner than fiscal year 2027,which lasts from the start of April 2026 to the end of March 2027.

Still A Significant Wait
The very soonest either game will launch is 10 months from now, but, based on how little we’ve been shownofPersona 4 Revivalin particular, I personally wouldn’t be surprised if the wait for that was significantly longer.
At least Stranger Than Heaven had been shown before, even if it was justa teaser with a codename, and itsSGF trailer was much more substantialthan what P4R got.

Obviously, Persona 4 Revival and Stranger Than Heaven aren’t the only games SEGA has in the pipeline, and the publisher pledges “several new title of Major IPs” in both the 2027 and 2028 fiscal years, including games for the Switch 2.
Another interesting takeaway from the presentation is that SEGA describes their growth over the past year as “led by Sonic and the US,” likely linked toSonic’s resurgence over the past few years.

We can get some idea of what SEGA considers to be its most important franchises from the presentation as well.
There’s a slide about “IP development” worldwide of not just Sonic, but Like a Dragon, Atlus’s franchises, unspecified legacy series, andHatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, known in Japan as Project Sekai: Colorful Stage.

In any case, at least it’s good to know for certain not to expect either Stranger Than Heaven or Persona 4 Revival this year, although that was probably fairly obvious from the fact that SEGA never made their release windows public when they were announced.
