How To Beat The Emperor & Empress
The key to winning this fight is coming inprepared with healing items and aPersona with a powerful pieceattack.Between the Protagonist, Akihiko, and Junpei, no one will naturally have a piece attack to try to damage and down the Empress. The Protagonist will need tofuse a Persona with a piece ability beforehand; otherwise, this fight is impossible.
Despite normally being a damage dealer, haveJunpei be the healer for this fight, utilizing healing items such as Umugi Water.While Akhiko can heal only one person, most of the attacks in the fight will be party-wide, and theProtagonist will be the only one who can hurt the Empress,tying up all of his turns.
Don’t worry about buffs and debuffs in this fight; instead,focus on targeting the Shadow’s weaknesses with Akihiko and the Protagonist, Shifting between the two todown both Shadows and use an All-Out Attackto deal much more damage. Follow this formula without much deviation, and this fight should only take a few turns to get itsmassive XP reward.
